ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. – – Diane Dixon gained a key early endorsement in the election for the 2nd Supervisor District as she announced the endorsement of the Lincoln Club of Orange County. The Lincoln Club of Orange County is one of the largest conservative donor networks in the entire State of California and is a benchmark for candidates running for office in Orange County.
“Diane Dixon is the strongest and most qualified candidate to win back this important seat on the Orange County Board of Supervisors. When we unite behind one candidate we have a track record of success,” said Lincoln Club President Teresa Hernandez. “Diane has the name ID and leadership skills to lead us to victory. She is the proven Conservative in the race with years of accomplishments fighting for Orange County families. The Lincoln Club stands ready to support Diane in every way to ensure she wins.”
The Lincoln Club of Orange County has been instrumental in influencing decisions at the local, state and national level for more than five decades. Their influence in Orange County is considered significant and their early endorsement sets a positive tone for Diane Dixon’s campaign to take on newly elected Supervisor Katrina Foley.
Katrina Foley was elected to the Board of Supervisors in a low turnout special election to fill the vacated seat of Supervisor Michelle Steel. The vote was split among multiple candidates which allowed liberal Foley the opportunity to win the election without a majority.
